“My approach to photographing outdoor adventure starts with capturing an amazing landscape.  Then, working with the athlete’s vision and creative view of their ‘line’, try to capture a moment of grace, agility and power within that landscape.  Light and form always play a big part in my photography whether it’s using the texture of the snow, the tracks of the rider, the shapes of the mountains, the play of light and shadow or a combination of them all.  This work truly never gets old.
